Ginger Snaps

2 ¼ c. Flour
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 c. Packed Brown Sugar
1 tsp. Ground Ginger
¾ c. Shortening (butter flavored)
1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
¼ c. Grandma’s Molasses
1 tsp. Ground Cloves
1 Egg
¼ c. Sugar

In large mixing bowl place about half the flour. Add the
brown sugar, shortening, molasses, egg, baking soda,
ginger, cinnamon & cloves. Beat with and electric

Bake in a 375 degree oven for 8 – 10 minutes or until
